According to traditional methods, Ventano's fittings are elaborately produced by hand in the sand casting process. Ventano supplies these fittings in particular to customers who want to preserve or restore their old building fabric in a manner appropriate to historical monuments. Customers include the who's who of the German aristocracy, real estate companies, architects, window manufacturers, etc.

In the beginning, there was an old cottage in the middle of nowhere in the district of Osnabrück. Together with two part-time employees, the founders of the company, Katie and Volker Eloesser, began shipping window handles and historical door fittings suitable for historical monuments. While the assortment was initially limited to just a few models, it quickly became apparent that there was a great deal of interest from carpenters, window manufacturers and architects, as well as private building owners, who were looking for stylish and authentic door and window fittings.

With a range of now more than 15,000 products in the hardware sector, Ventano became the reliable partner for craftsmen, restorers and more than 100,000 private customers within just a few years.

More than 20 competent employees from the fields of craft and trade, but also architecture, art history and technology realize the wishes of our worldwide customer base.
