The nationwide professional and technical association VDR equally represents the professional and technical interests of currently around 3,000 restorers of all disciplines in Germany.
The main concerns of the VDR are the protection and proper preservation of art and cultural assets while respecting their material, art-historical and aesthetic significance. The VDR is committed to professional education and networking and actively engages in public relations and lobbying.
